Deacons are elected and ordained to minister to those in need and to be a friend.
Every deacon has responsibility for a group of families and individuals in the congregation. Each group is known as a flock.
When you are sick, your deacon will visit you. When you are grieving, your deacon will call. When you need a ride or assistance of any sort, your deacon will arrange for help. When needed, your deacon will arrange for meals to be brought in, always mindful of special dietary concerns. When you need a friend to talk to, your deacon will listen.
If you are new to the church, deacons will greet you and make you feel welcome.
Your deacon will keep you informed of special events.
Please contact the church office to find out which deacon is assigned to your flock.
